As our new Account Manager, you will have a huge opportunity to grow the business in Denmark with a large quality product portfolio. Your main tasks will be growing sales and optimize profit of your assigned customer portfolio. As a salesperson you are also driven and motivated by actively bringing new sales and customers to the business. As an Account Manager you preferer to visit customers rather than sit in the office.

To achieve and support you in your daily tasks you will work closely with customer service. The role requires close cooperation and back-up with Technical Sales Managers, Sales Support, Commercial Analyst, Customer Services, Key Account Managers and Credit.

This role reports to the Sales Manager, Marine Products, Nordics who are based in Norway.
Main Responsibilities but not limited to:

Drive profitable sales growth on from current and new customers within your portfolio.

Develop robust and measurable Sales Activity Plans, and action assertively to deliver on the agreed targets

Build the sales pipeline to hit the targets as specified based on quality opportunities on existing accounts (share of wallet) and new business

Proactively utilize the available sales tools to relentlessly identify areas of growth and facilitate respective actions within portfolio

Foster strong relationships with the customers through high quality and frequent customer face to face meetings

Work closely with internal stakeholders and the Technical Solutions team to drive growth and process compliance

Ensure accurate and updated information on own accounts in WSS CRM

As a person you can characterize yourself with the following skills;
Professional skills:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marine qualification preferred. Lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant experience

Ambitious and a strong desire for success with a commercial mindset

Preferably international sales experience in technical sales

Experience from the industry, shipping e.g. sailing or other maritime engineering experience

Results oriented and with demonstrated achievements in sales

Use to work with IT, MS Office and CRM systems etc.

Proven communication skills and a good command of the English and Danish language

Personal competencies

Entrepreneurial mindset

Networker and a People person

Hunter mindset but aware of the importance of ACM

Ability to work independently by planning and organizing own work

Able to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities.
